Refund policy
At Resurrection Car Care Limited, we take pride in the quality of our hand-applied clear coat and car care products. Due to the nature of our products, we only accept returns or offer refunds in the event that an item is defective or damaged upon arrival.
Results & Product Performance
Results achieved using our products may vary depending on several factors, including but not limited to:
- Vehicle condition prior to application
- Surface preparation
- Application technique
- Environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, exposure to the elements)
Because these factors are outside of our control, variations in results do not constitute a defective product.
Eligibility for Returns
You are eligible for a return or refund only if:
- The product arrives damaged, or
- The product is defective due to a manufacturing fault
We do not offer refunds or replacements for products deemed defective as a result of:
- Incorrect or improper application
- Failure to follow provided instructions
- Inadequate surface preparation
- Application in unsuitable environmental conditions
- Normal wear and tear
- Change of mind
Products that have been opened, used, or partially used are not eligible for return, unless a manufacturing defect is confirmed.
Reporting an Issue
To be eligible for a return or refund:
- You must contact us within 7 days of receiving your order
- Please provide:
- Your order number
- A detailed description of the issue
- Clear photo or video evidence supporting your claim
Claims submitted outside this timeframe may not be accepted.
Assessment & Resolution
All claims are assessed on a case-by-case basis. If the issue is confirmed to be a manufacturing defect or shipping damage, we may, at our discretion:
- Provide a replacement product, or
- Issue a refund to the original payment method
If a product issue is determined to be caused by incorrect application or environmental factors, no refund or replacement will be issued.
Return Shipping
If a return is approved:
- We will cover reasonable return shipping costs for confirmed defective or damaged products, or
- Advise on appropriate disposal if return shipping is not required
Consumer Guarantees
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (New Zealand).
