How To Apply
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Read before applying
Resurrection Serum is designed to restore the appearance of faded or oxidised clear coat without repainting.
For best results, follow the steps below carefully and take your time.
There is no rush.
Before You Start
This product works best when applied to one panel at a time.
Starting small allows you to:
- See how your paint responds
- Get comfortable with the process
- Adjust before doing the rest of the vehicle
Most successful applications begin this way.
Step 1 — Preparation (Most Important Step)
Proper preparation matters more than pressure or speed.
- Before applying, make sure the surface is:
- Clean
- Completely dry
- Free from waxes, oils, silicones, or residues
Wash the vehicle thoroughly and allow the panel to dry fully.
If the surface has previously been waxed or treated, ensure all residues are removed before application.
Skipping prep is the most common reason results are reduced.
Step 2 — Application
Apply Resurrection Serum to a cool panel, out of direct sunlight.
- Use a clean applicator pad or cloth
- Apply a generous, even layer
- Work in smooth, overlapping motions slightly to reduce missed spots
A generously controlled application levels more evenly and cures more consistently.
Step 3 — First Inspection
Once applied:
- Allow the product to settle briefly
- Insure an even coat
Crucial - Do not rub the coating during curing process, can cause peeling
Do not overwork the panel.
Let the product do the work.
If you notice streaks that is usually due to lack of product or poor application, if this happens allow to cure and reapply.
Step 4 — Curing (Critical) 48hours
Curing is where the restoration locks in.
- During the curing period:
- Keep the surface dry
- Avoid rain, washing, or ANY moisture
- Avoid touching the panel
- Keep the vehicle covered for a minimum of 48 hours
Introducing moisture too early can interrupt curing and may cause cloudiness or white spotting - That will require polishing to remove
Step 5 — What to Expect
You may notice an immediate improvement, but the true result appears after curing, not always instantly.
After curing, most people see:
- Deeper colour
- Restored gloss
- A finish that no longer fades back when dry
- reduced swirls / scratch's
On heavily faded panels, a second application may help.
This is normal and does not indicate a problem.
If You’re Unsure
If anything feels unclear or the result isn’t what you expected:
- Stop
- Allow the surface to fully dry
- Reassess before reapplying

COMMON MISTAKES
And how to avoid them
Most issues we see are caused by timing or conditions, not the product itself.
The sections below explain what can go wrong and how to prevent it.
Applying Before Rain or Wetting Panels During Cure
What happens:
Moisture introduced before curing is complete can interrupt the process and may cause white or cloudy spotting.
Why:
The product needs uninterrupted time to cure and bond properly.
How to avoid it:
- Check the weather before applying
- Keep the panel dry / under cover for the curing process
- Avoid washing the vehicle during this period
In most cases, cloudiness resolves once fully dry, but prevention is best.
Applying in Direct Sun or on a Hot Panel
What happens:
The product flashes too quickly, making it harder to apply evenly.
Why:
Excess heat accelerates evaporation and reduces working time - limiting results
How to avoid it:
- Apply in shade / ideally under cover
- Ensure the panel is cool to the touch
Using Too Little Product
What happens:
The surface becomes streaky and may cure unevenly.
Why:
Thin layers tend to level differently on vehicles depending on condition and can cause significant streaking , even applications.
How to avoid it:
- Use a generous even coat
- Ensure the applicator is wet evenly ( no dry spots to avoid friction)
Rushing Panel to Panel
What happens:
Inconsistent results and uneven finish.
Why:
Each panel responds differently depending on condition / paint thickness / heat
How to avoid it:
- Complete one panel fully before moving on
- Take your time
Skipping Proper Prep
What happens:
Reduced bonding and muted results.
Why:
Residues from waxes, oils, or cleaners interfere with adhesion.
How to avoid it:
- Clean thoroughly
- Ensure the surface is dry and residue-free
Expecting Repaint-Level Correction
What happens:
Unrealistic expectations.
Why:
This product restores the appearance of faded clear coat — it does not rebuild missing paint or repair peeling clear coat.
How to avoid it:
Understand the difference between restoration and repainting.
Important Reminder
None of the mistakes above permanently damage paint.
They affect finish quality, not structural integrity.
Slowing down and controlling conditions avoids nearly all issues.
When a Respray Is the Better Option
This product is not suitable if:
- Clear coat is actively peeling
- Scratches have cut through the paint
- There is structural paint failure
- There is no physical clear coat left
In these cases, repainting is the correct solution.

Important Use & Application Notice
Resurrection Serum must be applied strictly in accordance with the provided instructions.
Results and finish quality depend on factors outside our control, including surface condition, preparation, environmental conditions, and adherence to the application and curing process.
We cannot guarantee outcomes where instructions are not followed, curing conditions are interrupted (including exposure to moisture), or where the product is used outside its intended purpose.
Resurrection Serum is designed to restore the appearance of faded or oxidised clear coat. It is not intended to repair peeling clear coat, deep scratches through paint, or structural paint failure.
If curing is interrupted or application conditions are not ideal, allow the surface to fully dry and reassess before reapplying.
